About Samantha

Born and raised in Iowa City, Iowa, I found my love for performing early on through dance. From making my start as a toddler ballerina to competition dance, my passion for the stage has only grown.

I was introduced to the magic of theatre through Mary Poppins playing on repeat on my TV. My donkey kicks on the couch and strong Cockney accent at the age of 7 made it clear that theatre was my calling. I answered that call and am a recent graduate of Syracuse University’s BFA Musical Theatre program.

Through my training, I have expanded my work to teaching, choreographing, understudying, assistant directing, and more. My values of reliability, kindness, collaboration, and joy are always present in my work.

I have also worked extensively with kids through being a camp counselor for YMCA Camp Wapsie and Young Footliters theatre camps. Through working as a counselor I showed my skills of leadership, event planning, and overall creativity.

I am also passionate about fashion, movies, scrapbooking, 70’s music, Star Wars, and my family and friends.

In my free time, you can typically find me outside. I love hiking, snowboarding, swimming, camping, and anything that gets me outdoors. I’m always seeking an adventure!
